Hi, AJoseS.
Apple Macbook Pro 2020
We know your time is valuable, and we appreciate you taking the time to post in the Apple Support Communities.
We understand that you’re attempting to download or install something on your MacBook Pro, but you’re getting an error that you don’t have enough free space for the action. It sounds like you have some free space on the Macintosh HD volume, but the Macintosh HD - Data volume is full.
If you haven’t already found the answer and a resolution, we’re more than happy to get you pointed in the best direction.

To explain the two volumes, with macOS Catalina a second volume was created on your disk to separate a read-only system that houses all of your critical system files. This volume is the Macintosh HD partition. You won’t be able to store files or data in this volume, nor can you impact it in any way.
